Important: ASFS PTA Letter to APS - Elementary School Planning

To all ASFS families, teachers and staff,

Thanks to unanimous support from our ASFS community at the PTA meeting on Tuesday night, our ASFS PTA is on board with sending a letter to the Arlington School and County Boards to advocate for a solution to our immediate overcrowding and need for additional neighborhood seats in the Rosslyn/Courthouse area.

We are grateful for such a supportive school community, and want to ensure we have full support for our message to APS. Our ASFS PTA Executive Board has worked hard to incorporate the feedback we have heard from parents, teachers, and staff into the attached letter to APS. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns by end of day on Sunday, December 8th.

ASFS PTA Letter to APS (December 2019)

It is important that all of us agree as a unified PTA to move forward with these requests to APS. You are also welcome to use the messages included here to advocate directly to APS and the School Board with any additional thoughts you may have.

Ways to Engage: We encourage all ASFS community members to provide your feedback. The more our voices are heard, the more of a difference we can make.
